NEA Planning Part 5 - Casting

 The purpose of this task is to introduce and identify the models and interviewee(s) that I plan to use in my media products. I will create a profile for each person such as their name and why they are suitable.

  How are genre conventions used in 3 media products? Choose 3 media texts similar to the ones you chose in for your NEA to help you identify and analyse relevant conventions of the chosen genre.  The codes and conventions in these 3 magazine front covers clearly demonstrate and reflect the specific genres on the magazines.   In this post I'm going to choose my brief for the NEA and I'll be coming up with initial ideas for both the required products... I will be creating a mind map to record my ideas. To summarise, for the background (blurred) shows the fact that the public is blind to the fact that this could be a 'plan-demic,' that the mainstream media is blurring or distorting what is really going on behind the scenes.  The use of suit clothing demonstrates a sense of authority, perhaps inclining that the theorist isn't impacted by the opinions and statements of those 'superior' to him. He is holding the virus in his hand, this displays, once again his dominance towards it, connoting the control he had over it because it is deemed unimportant/not dangerous. However it has some significance, and this is shown by the virus molecule overlapping the magazine text.
