Institutions

  In this post I will be researching the media institutions linked to my chosen brief, paying particular attention to the type of company they are and the type of media products they produce.  I will also be looking into how the company ethos is reflected in their products, this will give me a ideas on how I can incorporate this into my own production of both the main task and the website. NEA Planning task 2 - My Mood Board

I chose brief 3 - current affairs magazine. I am required to produce two front covers and 2 contents pages.   My target audience, age wise, is 16-64 and is aimed at social grades A & B. In this task I'll explore different types of images, fonts and colours to use in my magazine, such as black and white for issue 1, and serif fonts such as Times New Roman.  I shall be looking at different connotations & symbolisms, alongside intertextuality and how these affect the way my target audience might view my product.
